When Life Shows the Ropes

On this teacher’s day, 5 September 2020, I want to be a student. Student of the great teacher ‘Life’! So much is camouflaged, so much is surfaced, so much is sheltered and so much is painted by this great teacher called life! But why am I calling life a teacher? It does not teach at all in fact it lets us learn our lessons ourselves! The best way to make someone learn anything! In fact, life is not a teacher but ‘life’ is an exam on its own!  All schoolteachers should learn from Life, how it just lets us learn! It just presents to us the scenarios and lets us figure out the best possible solution ourselves, the best example of immersive learning! And the interesting part is that these life lessons never end, they continue to affect us, change us, make us grow as a person, as a human being throughout our lives. When it comes to the life’s lessons then I think I can call myself a late bloomer. Life has to be patient with me, life has to wait and watch all my actions calmly, because I am not an easy student after all, I learn at my own pace and some times I even mix up all that I have learnt in the past with learnings of present and it creates  lot of hinderances in my learning experiences. Life tells me not to mix the curriculum of the past with the curriculum of the present! But I do not listen, instead in the examination of ‘present’ I have sometimes used curriculum of the ‘past’.. and the result has been a ‘FAIL’ So I have to appear for the exam of ‘present’ again, studying and following the curriculum of the Present, not the past. So according to life’s lessons I have understood that we do not always get out of syllabus questions in the exam of life, but we often spoil our exam because we concentrate more on out of syllabus topics! Life has taught me to wait gently for the allotted tests and use my resources and knowledge effectively , so that there is no mistakes and disorder and I ‘PASS’ the ‘Exams of Life’ with flying colours.
