Christmas is Here..

Dear Christmas,

How are you? As you already know that I have considered you as a feeling, I have welcomed you year after year as a sentiment and emotion that brings cheer to the humanity.

I have a special request to make to you, would you bring hope and courage this year for us humans as an extra dose of goodwill? You see dear Christmas; the year has been an awful one for most of us. The planet earth and its people have suffered a lot of loss and misery.

We know that you are truly Christmas when we celebrate you by giving the light of love to those who need it most, so show us the way to make this a Christmas worthwhile for those who truly need support and care.

Just think about it Christmas- What if this year you do not come from a store. What if ...perhaps...you mean a little bit more?!

Ask Santa Claus to seek the needy and to make them happy; by thought or word or deed in every gift that he bestows.

Dear Christmas, I sincerely wish this year particularly, you keep the ‘Christ’ in Christmas? You feed the hungry, clothe the naked, forgive the guilty, welcome the unwanted, care for the ill, and do unto others as you would have done unto you.

This year dear Christmas you have to wave a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is braver and more resilient.

Year after Year you have blessed the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love. This year I want you to engage the whole world in the dance of hope, in the song of optimism.

Oh, Dear Christmas, be the shawl that wraps itself about every weary heart and warms more than body. It warms the troubled hearts and fill them with melody of trust that would last forever.

Christmas my dear you are love in action and a season for kindling the genial feeling of charity in the heart. This year especially we need to find you more in our hearts and less under the tree.

Lastly Dear Christmas, I want you to ask Santa to put up some of the Christmas spirit in jars and leave it with people so that they can open the jars in coming months, when things begin to brighten up and lives become easier.

Bye for now Dear Christmas, I will be waiting for you next year, with more fun, more cheer, and more celebrations!
