When the Earth Asked..
And then the Earth just asked
Who belongs to me and I belong to whom?
When the vast space closes in
Threatening to consume
Earth begins to ask I belong to whom?
The men, the trees, the rivers, the valleys
The mountains, the forests, the flowers
On the bloom,
Are all born from my womb,
If they are born from me, then I belong to whom?
You belong to me, this definitiveness don’t you see?
My warm hug, the sun declares, is the decree
You are my chosen bride, I am your groom
The universe is amazed at our commune
This dance of life that we spread
Makes the transcendental swoon’
This, when the Earth just asked
I belong to whom?
